PRE-REQUISITE COURSES

Contract Termination | Re-Enrollment: The contract for pre-requisite courses expire after 1 year. If a student goes beyond the 1 year time period, according to DRE regulations, the student must re-enroll in the course(s). As a courtesy we charge a nominal $25 fee to re-enroll in each course. Being a re-enrollment, the student’s official contract time starts over and in turn the student must wait for the minimal time period of 2 1/2 weeks to pass before becoming eligible to take a final exam.

Final Examinations: Finals must be taken during contract period. Exam is “Open Book, Monitored” and requires a 60% grade to pass. Final examinations may be taken anytime after 2-1/2 weeks from date of receiving course materials. If taking more than one course, the student becomes eligible to take a final each 2-1/2 weeks. Example: If taking 3 courses, after 2-1/2 weeks, the student becomes eligible to schedule a final; after 5 weeks, a second final; and after 7-1/2 weeks, the third course final. If the final is failed, the student will be administered a second final; if the second final is failed, the course is failed.
